The Alcove Care Social Club is a place where friendships are formed, confidence grows, and every person feels like they truly belong. We believe that social connection is just as vital to wellbeing as any other form of care.
From community outings and holiday parties to game days and creative projects, our Social Club calendar is packed with opportunities for fun, friendship, and meaningful participation in the wider community.
What We Do Together
Community Outings
Regular trips to local parks, restaurants, shops, and events that build independence and community connection.
Game Days
Board games, card games, and friendly competitions that spark laughter and friendly rivalry.
Holiday Celebrations
We celebrate every season and holiday together — decorating, cooking, and making memories as a community.
Creative Projects
Art, crafts, music, and other creative activities that let every member express themselves and show off their talents.
Movie & Popcorn Nights
Relaxed evenings watching favorite films together, complete with snacks and great company.
Guest Speakers & Demos
Visits from community members, local businesses, and special guests who share skills, stories, and inspiration.

Join the Club
The Social Club is open to adults (18+) with intellectual and developmental disabilities in our community. Membership is included as part of our Day Center program, or available as a standalone activity.
- Adults age 18 and older
- Open to Day Center participants and community members
- Cochran County and surrounding West Texas area
- Medicaid waiver or private pay accepted
